mail order brides

So, I have to admit to a recent fascination of mine.  Mail order brides and arranged marriages.  Not in modern, real-life terms, but in romance books.  I don't remember which book set it off exactly, but I have a list of books on hold at the library--all centering around the topic.  Half of them are inspirational romances, half of them are not.  Either way, there's something intriguing about the concept for me.
